We work from Unakuruwa, a coastal village a few minutes from Tangalle town. This is where we begin: the people who live here, what they cook, what they know about the roads, the beaches and the lagoon.

With two luxuriously appointed bedrooms and a wide wrap-around veranda, the Main House offers plenty of privacy for guests, while the excellent facilities ensure your comfort at all times. Both bedrooms feature large windows, ceiling fans, and large queen-size beds.

The Cabin with a separate private entrance is situated adjacent to the Main House. It has a contemporary feel and features a large queen-size bed, kitchenette, including a generous wrap-around veranda and a beautiful fully walled and partially open-air bathroom. You will feel relaxed and pampered yet immersed in the tropical garden.

Aliya Watunu Hena is a private home in Unakuruwa. Not a hotel. Not a resort. A home its founders Ladi and Mila built for themselves in 2024, and occasionally open to the people who'd appreciate it.
